Summary

  • The SSH clone command in 2026-09-19-contract-ci-strategy.md's Consequences section hung both sibling repos' CI pipelines — the self-hosted runners have no SSH key configured.
  • Both siblings' pipelines already check out their own repo over authenticated HTTPS using the Forgejo Actions token; the platform sibling-clone step should use the same mechanism.
  • Superseded the old ADR (added the one permitted post-acceptance line) rather than editing its body, per its own immutability rule. New ADR: 2026-09-19-contract-ci-clone-mechanism.md.
  • All six affected workflow files (three each in recipe-backend and recipe-app) have already been fixed directly on their own onboarding branches/PRs.

Test plan

  • Docs-only change in this repo.

The SSH clone specified in 2026-09-19-contract-ci-strategy.md hangs on the
self-hosted runners (no SSH key configured). Both sibling repos' CI pipelines
already check out their own repo over authenticated HTTPS with the Forgejo
Actions token; the platform sibling-clone step should use the same mechanism.
